Faisalabad Wolves to miss Champions League T20 2013

Faisalabad Wolves to miss Champions League T20 this year. This is because the Indian government has not allowed to issue visas to Pakistani players. This is a very unfortunate decision for both Pakistan cricket team and the cricket fans around the world. Earlier, Faisalabad Wolves had won Faysal Bank T20 to make place in Champions League T20 2013. Misbah ul Haq had to lead the team. Stars like Saeed Ajmal were part of the team too. According to reports, the Indian government took the decision over security concerns.

“not possible to provide necessary security arrangements, so visas are unlikely” said an official

This is not the first time Indian government and BCCI has kept any Pakistani team or player out of playing cricket in their country. The earlier editions of IPL T20, NOCs were not issued to players making their participation impossible.
