Pakistan Super League Finally Kicks Off in UAE

After speculations and failed planing for over half-a-decade, the Pakistan Super League has finally kicked off in Dubai, UAE. The premier cricket league has 5 franchises and spread over a tight schedule during 19 days of action filled cricket.

The opening ceremony was held before Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators came face to face to play the very first match of the league that hold a lot of hopes for Pakistan. Many stars like Ali Zafar, Sean Paul, Mohib Mirza and Sanam Saeed gave live to the event with their performances.

Najam Sethi, the Pakistan Super League boss, even showed his hope about the league being moved to Pakistan for some matches in the next edition. Given that Pakistan has already hosted Zimbabwe in a series, this dream could come true in the near future.
