Cricket Finally Comes Home – Pakistan to Host 1st International Cricket Match After 2009

It has been a long wait but it's soon going to be over. After the Sri Lanka cricket team was attacked in Lahore in 2009, door of international cricket were closed. Pakistan was ruled out of hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and ICC T20 Cricket World Cup as well. The long awaited thirst is finally going to be over with the first T20 match being played between Pakistan and Zimbabwe at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

In the pool match against Zimbabwe, West Indies opener Chris Gayle scored a massive 215 off just 147 balls. His knock helped West Indies reach 372 for the loss of just 2 wickets. This is the highest total in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
