Pakistani spin-wizard and world’s #1 bowler Saeed Ajmal, who was banned for his illegal bowling action, might return to play ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 if he is able to clear the official bowling test by International Cricket Council (ICC) accredited laboratory in Chennai, India on January 24. Saeed Ajmal has already cleared an unofficial private test conducted in England this week. He will visit Chennai to put both his bowling action and luck under test one last time before the mega cricket event kicks off next month in Australia and New Zealand.

Saeed Ajmal was banned in September last year for illegal bowling action.

Pakistan squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 has already been announced. It’s not clear whether PCB can review the national team after Saeed Ajmal clears the test.

Ajmal, however, remained unsure whether he would be able to feature in the World Cup or not.

Look, I want to be as confident in my bowling as I was before (suspension) and want to be effective, so (whether) I can still play the World Cup or cannot play, remains to be seen.

I want to do what is best for my country and for my team.

Saeed Ajmal was originally included in the 30 man probables for World Cup.

According to ICC rules, a team can make changes to the squad no later than 7th February, 2015.

Best of luck to the current king of Doosra and Teesra.
