Each Pakistan player will receive more than PKR1 crore as the ICC has announced the prize money for T20 World Cup teams.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the prize money distribution for the Twenty 20 World Cup teams on Tuesday.
According to an ICC press release, England will receive a whopping $US 1.6 million (more than 220 million Pakistani rupees). for defeating Pakistan and winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final in Melbourne on Sunday.
The ICC said that the runners-up team would be given $800,000. The Men in Green will also receive $120,000 ($40,000) each for the three victories in the Super 12 stage.
All players will receive an equal share, with one portion going to team management. Because Fakhar Zaman played in one game, there will be 17 portions, 16 for cricketers and one for the remaining members on support.
According to estimates, each player will receive approximately PKR1 crore 30 lakh rupees. Mohammad Hasnain and Khushdil Shah will receive substantial compensation despite not playing a match.
During the tournament, the ICC, on the other hand, provided each player with a daily allowance of 125 Australian dollars (83 US dollars). PCB added 31 US dollars and paid players a daily allowance of 114.
