The much-anticipated players’ draft for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight will take place in Karachi on December 15.


The date and location of the player draft is decided by unanimous agreement of all franchises.


HBL PSL 8 will take place in Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi from February 9 to March 19. Lahore Qalandar, the defending champions, will defend their title.


The HBL PSL Player Draft 2023 has attracted top T20 cricketers from around the world. There are 493 players from full member and associate nations available for the player draught, with 29 in the Platinum category and 81 in the Diamond category (names below).


England has the most foreign players who have registered (140). Sri Lanka (60), Afghanistan (43), the West Indies (38), Bangladesh (28), South Africa (25), Australia (14), Zimbabwe (11), and Ireland are the next full members on the list (nine). Foreign participants were present in the top two categories.

In addition, the Pakistan Cricket Board has already revealed the draught order, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars going first, followed by Quetta Gladiators and 2021 champions Multan Sultans.
